Pumpkin Pie Oatmeal



One more pumpkin recipe just incase you haven’t had enough! This pumpkin pie oatmeal is the perfect Thanksgiving brunch recipe. With all the flavours of pumpkin pie it’s like having dessert for breakfast.



Simple and oh so delicious, this oatmeal will soon become a fall favourite. It you are obsessed with pumpkin and all things fall half as much as me than this recipe is perfect for you! Warm cinnamon, spicy ginger and aromatic allspice and nutmeg complement each other perfectly to make one heck of a delicious breakfast! 🙂




Pumpkin Pie Oatmeal

  • 1 cup oats
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/4 cup + 2 Tbsp pumpkin puree
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  1. In a medium sauce pot combine oats and water. Bring to a simmer and cook for about 6 minutes or until the oats soften and thicken.
  2. Add in the pumpkin, maple syrup and pumpkin spice and stir to combine.
  3. Remove from the heat and serve sprinkled with crushed pecans or walnuts.
