I love a good, fresh green juice from time to time. They help me reset and feel a little more alive, especially after I’ve indulge a little too much. But buying juices can get expensive and not everyone has a juicer at home. Or if you have one you might be like me and hate cleaning it, so many parts that need to be pristine before putting it away. I have the solution to it all – blender green juice. Yes! An easy juice that’s made in the blender. No need for fancy machinery, tedious cleaning or trips to the juice bar.
This green juice is delicious with a little kick. My favourites always include lemon and ginger with a little fruit. I’m not a fan of the super “green” tasting ones, lol. I know, a little backwards seeing as it is a green juice, but I like a little sweet to break up the earthy. This recipe has it all.
- 1/2 cucumber
- 2 large handfuls spinach
- 1/4 pineapple
- 1 lemon, rind removed
- 2 inch piece ginger
- 1/3 cup water
- Blend everything in a high speed blender.
- Strain through cheese cloth if necessary (this step depends on your blender and how much pulp you like).
- Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
