Old Fashioned Glazed Donuts

Old fashioned donuts with a hint of nutmeg and a spooky glaze.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups AP flour
- 3/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 cup non-dairy milk
- 1 egg
- 2 Tbsp avocado oil
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- Glaze:
- 3/4 cup icing sugar
- 1 1/12-2 Tbsp non-dairy milk
- few drops of food colour
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- In a large bowl whisk together the dry ingredients. Add the wet ingredients to the dry and whisk well to combine.
- Divide batter into a greased donut pan using a pipping bag or small spoon.
- Bake for 8-12 minutes.
- Let donuts cool completely before glazing.
- To make the spider web glaze dip the cooled donut into your base colour glaze then drizzle your web colour glaze around the top of the donut in a circle motion. Gently drag a toothpick through the glaze to create the spider web look.
